ServerBossBar - Welcome Messages!

ServerBossBar - Welcome messages!

Introduction

Welcome to ServerBossBar. With this plugin you can easily welcome your new players on the most amazing way! First of all, new players will be welcomed by a message that server owners can customise in-game and in the config.yml! Of course, you can also set another message for players that already joined the server before.

After a welcome message, you can set a secondary bar. What you do with is up to you, e.g. display the users' current health, the options are endless!

Commands

  • /sbb - Get an overview of all available commands.
  • /sbb show - Show the bar, if you disabled him.
  • /sbb hide - Hide the bar, if you enabled him.
  • /sbb setmsg - Get an overview of all available commands about setting different welcome messages or customise them.

Permissions

  • sbb.setmessage - The only permission in the plugin. This gives the player permission to set different messages. Default: OP.

Ideas and problems

Do you have an idea or problem? Please leave a command, and I will look up to it as soon as possible. Known issues:

  • Due to a client side bug with 1.8, the bar is only visible to a player if they are looking at the enderdragon. This means players will be able to see an enderdragon in the distance. You can follow the bug here NOTE!: The bug has been fixed in version 'Minecraft development snapshot 15w31a'. In the next version of Minecraft (the current one is 1.8.8) the bug should be corrected.
