What is BattleNight?

BattleNight is an organized PvP CraftBukkit plugin which makes the normal PvP experience a lot more enjoyable by adding configurable RPG like classes and a arena system. Some of the major features are:

  • Easy to set up
  • Easy to use
  • Build your own Arenas!
  • Create your own classes!
  • Multiple Battle types (TDM, FFA)
  • Permissions (SuperPerms) or Op
  • State saving
  • Music
  • Update checking (Can be disabled in config.yml)

Getting Started

A quickstart guide, command list and more can be found on the BattleNight wiki.

How does it differ from similar plugins?

I aim to make BattleNight easy to use, easy to set-up and bug free while maintaining a constant addition of features. I spend time reading your comments, suggestions and bug reports to insure that it is best suited the majority of the community and is running seamlessly on your servers.

I'm a student who spends a lot of time working on BattleNight and BattleNight addons so any donations are greatly appreciated. The donate link is located at the top right of this page.

I'm having trouble removing spawns, when I use /bn arenas removespawn 1 it says invalid spawn so added a 5 on the end to try and specify the spawn point by using /bn arenas removespawn 1 5 it says invalid command (It was just a guess that it would specify the point), what would the syntax be to get rid of spawn 5 in arena 1?

Just create an arena and set some spawns. Then make sure the battle type is set to TDM in the config file.

No sorry but I can tell you where I'm at.

The messaging, timer, command and configuration systems are complete. The Lobby is almost finished and so are maps and the system for game types. Still to go are battles, loadouts, teams, voting, event handlers and creation of the 6 or so game types.

There is only a single lounge since there is no need for two. You can set it by using "/bn set lobby".

    @cbprog: Go

By the looks of it this means the player has no class when they are being re-spawned. Maybe the player somehow never managed to pick a class or something cleared the player's metadata.
