AutoSaver

Auto Saver Logo

Still Working as of 1.7.X

Autosave does the bare minimum, and it does what it needs to - it saves the world and players on a specified interval.

How to use

  1. Install plugin normally
  2. Start the server and let it build the config files
  3. Open the config.yml and change the interval to whatever you want (default is every 5 minutes)
  4. You are now configured!

Command Usage

  1. Enable autosave: /autosave enable
  2. Disable autosave: /autosave disable
  3. Force Save: /autosave save
  4. Reload Configuration: /autosave reload

Notes

  • If you are upgrading from version 2.3 or lower to 2.5 or higher you must delete your old configs
  • Autosave can only be used by opped players.

A suggestion for this plugin is that you can enable and disable automatic broadcasts for when the world gets saved. But like the plugin :)

This should not be the case unless your world is expanding every save. This will not save back-ups of the world, however will save the world itself (so that if the world crashes you will not lose data from when the last save occurred).

If this is a persisting problem please make a ticket or PM me and I will look into it further.

Is there any way I can delete any saves? It seems that it takes about 50 MB of my hard drive space every time the auto saver saves the world, is there any way I can delete them to gain back that space?

If you mean adding custom messages such as changing what it says when the server saves a world - then I should be able to add this feature

I am debating adding in various back up support such as normal zip archives or FTP servers/drop box based backups.

Do you think you could add a world backup feature?

    @Bammerbom: Go

There should already be a permission node for this command, which would work with most permissions plugins - however I will verify and add to the documentation the exact use.
