This plugin now works will work with all 1.6 versions. Any fixing with be on hold.
Information: This plugin allows you to apply a cooldown to a golden apple/god apple. This comes in handy for PvP servers that want their players to have a ultimate and more fun experience. This plugin is very easy, No permissions or commands needed!

Install Guide
Drop the AppleCooldown.jar in your plugins folder, Reload & config!
NOTE: The config is named "Gold"
Config:
The config will be named "Gold'!
cooldown: 60 #This is the time in seconds until a player can eat another apple.
messages:
new_in_cooldown: true #This warns the player when they have eaten a apple and have a cooldown.
still_in_cooldown: true #This warns the player they are still in a cooldown.
out_of_cooldown: true #This warns the player that their cooldown is over.
Known Bugs:
- Sometimes the messages will repeat twice, Depending on battle attributes.

Posted Dec 29, 2013Finished working on an updated variation of Apple Cooldown, which only sets a cooldown on God Apples (Notch Apples). I made use of the PlayerItemConsumeEvent, making the plugin more efficient, and preventing the ability to spam the cooldown message. Message me for the plugin, or its source. I may put it up publicly in a few days.

I too, would like to see no cooldown on the normal golden apple. Or maybe even a separate cooldown from the god apple.

Sometimes when the players eat the apple, it actually doesn't eat it, can you please take some time to fix and update?

It is unfortunate that this plugin will no longer be available for updates. I'm almost 99% sure this will work in 1.6

And also, could you please make individual settings for apple / gold apple / god apples?
Like different config settings that can be adjusted to set each individual cooldown timer?
