Anonymous Chat
- The most recent version is fully functional with 1.7.9/10 & 1.8
AnonymousChat
This plugin will allow you to chat anonymously using /anonchat. When enabled, your username is replaced with "<Anonymous>" (configurable). Players with the permission anonchat.names will be able to see your name.
Usage
Use /anonchat to toggle anonymous chatting.
Permissions
anonchat.anon - Use the /anonchat command
anonchat.names - See the names of people chatting anonymously (Like this: "(Superior_Slime) <Anonymous>: hi"
Installation
Simply pop this in your plugins folder and it's good to go! You can configure the "<Anonymous>" tag in the config, if you like.
Configuration
Note (may be an Essentials bug): Using colour codes appears to be buggy.
## Config for AnonChat v1.0 by Superior_Slime ## format: '<Anonymous>:' ## To use color codes, use an ampersand (&) ## Don't add spaces after the colon.
Compatibility
Currently tested and working with EssentialsChat.

- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.
Requesting permission to translate the messages in this plugin to Chinese and upload it to MCBBS(a Chinese minecraft forum).
@PapiDimmi
The file's been approved! :D
Another suggestion would be to have multiple perm groups so we can configure the message's username to the group.
@thequestingbeast
Whoops, forgot to add permissions to the project page. Sorry about that, they're there now.
I would love to see this have perms to work so only certain groups have access to it.
