US FOX Campaign 2017 now live - more campaigns on the way!
Description
Will target US players only with a variety of advertising campaigns until 19th May 2017. Rate to our members will be $5 CPM (per 1,000) in-game views.
There is no MC reward for clicking the link on the image to your users on this particular Fox campaign. However you will be paid regardless when they view the advert in-game.
The tutorial video on this page is from an older Lego campaign but it is still correct in terms of setup. Ignore the MC user rewarding element.

This map based plugin takes around 3 minutes to build in your server, as pictured above, and allows you to generate revenue from your players.
Any player within a 10 block radius of the map image will earn you revenue (no more than 1 view counted every 3 minutes per player). A view is simply being close to the map in game - we recommend you place this next to your default spawn. Views will be tracked on MOTDgd.com in the member portal - please look under statistics (Minecraft painting/Admaps).
If players right click the map and watch the related video, via the link they will get a golden apple, our official reward of choice. This can be put on a cooldown. This won't impact any revenue.
This plugin is non-intrusive and has no other function in the game other than earning you revenue, and being cool to look at.
Tip: You can put it in your default spawn area and in multiple places in your server to maximise views/revenue.
Requirements/Dependencies
The AdMaps plugin is an official add-on for CommandAd (an MOTDgd plugin that allows you to reward players for watching ads). This plugin also depends on MapManager and PacketListenerAPI.
You will use the config file from CommandAd , your member ID will carry across, nothing else needs setting up for admaps to work (see installation video).
It's a win win situation as both CommandAd and the Admaps plugin can be run at the same time, so you maximise your ad revenue!

Not working?
- Check you have CommandAd latest version installed with it's dependencies.
- Check you have put your member ID in the config file for CommandAd or you will get console errors.
- Check US players are on your server and wait around 20 mins-1 hour for your statistics to update on MOTDgd.com
- Check you are looking at the right statistics
- Remember you will need at least 1,000 views to get our CPM rate e.g. $5.00 a small number of views won't show any/will show minimal balance earned due to the maths involved.

Posted Nov 5, 2017I had decided to try it out. I figured (if this works) you'd pay me, and I wouldn't have to give out any information that could cause harm. However, when I started to sign up, I had to provide my address. Why is it that you would need this? I'm now rather hesitant to use this... But I'm still curious.

Posted Jul 15, 2016Works great but there's a small bug after walking away from the item frames. After walking away it displays a map that's been made by a player instead of the ad, after this happens it never reverts to the ad. Otherwise the plugin works great! (If this bug is able to be fixed please PM me! I don't want to mooch money if the ad isn't displaying correctly.)
